ENTERING THE SPEEDWAY

Whether it’s your first time at Daytona International Speedway or you’re a returning fan, a little preparation can make your day smoother and more enjoyable. From ticketing and bag checks to parking and re-entry, here’s everything you need to know ahead of the Daytona 400:

Luggage check

All bags and personal belongings will be checked at the entrance. Make sure you know what you can and can’t bring–this includes items such as fan gear, food, and drinks. Prohibited items will be confiscated and discarded. In more serious cases, bringing banned items could result in removal from the venue or even a ban from future events.

Tickets and entry

To enter the racetrack, you must present a valid ticket.

Tickets are best purchased online, and the process only takes a few minutes. Don’t leave it too late–some ticket categories, including seated and general admission, may sell out quickly. Natural grandstand options without seat reservations are also available.

Parking information

Parking can be a challenge during the Coke Zero Sugar 400 due to high attendance, but there are multiple options:

On-Site Parking at Daytona International Speedway 

• General Parking: Budget-friendly but fills up fast. You might need to walk a bit from your spot (opening at 12:00 PM).
• Preferred Parking: Closer to the entrance, slightly more expensive, and more convenient.

Free or Off-Site Alternatives

• Street Parking: Some free or low-cost public street parking may be available nearby, though limited. Be careful–violations can lead to fines or towing.
• Rideshare/Public Transit: Uber, Lyft, or local transport can drop you off near the entrances and are ideal if you want to avoid parking altogether, especially if you're staying in Daytona Beach.

Parking opening

On race day, the parking lots at Daytona International Speedway open at 12:00 PM (applies for Coke Zero Sugar 400). Arrive early to avoid long lines and make the most of your day at the track.
